Karen Pavliscak is a culture builder and instructional expert with over two decades of experience leading transformational education.
Described as a "serial innovator," she excels at building professional culture and amplifying mission-aligned strengths and possibilities. As the Associate Head of School at The Archer School for Girls, she inspired purposeful innovation and fostered a culture of teaching and learning excellence.
Karen has presented nationally for NAIS, CATDC, CAIS, and ICGS on leadership, culture, and innovation. Whether coaching teams, guiding strategic planning, or facilitating professional development, Karen brings vision, expertise, and humor to the meaningful work of fostering transformative growth and navigating evolving challenges.
Malia McClurg is an ed tech specialist and seasoned educator with nearly two decades of experience teaching English and history in both public and independent schools.
Renowned for her passion and inventive methods, she has served as an innovative learning coordinator at The Archer School for Girls, where she leveraged technology to enhance pedagogy, curriculum development, and student learning.
A Canvas Certified Educator, Malia holds a B.A. from Saint Mary’s College of California and a Master’s in Education from Antioch University in Seattle. She is deeply interested in the potential and challenges of technology use in education and is committed to rethinking educational practices.
